For
the twelve months from 1st April, 2008, our rates are as follows, payable monthly in advance.
All fees are subject to annual review, with changes normally coming into
force on 1st April each year.
Standard Care: £464.10
per week
Enhanced Care: £569.10 per week
We have found that, with some
of the people who’ve been with us for some time, their increasing frailty
calls for a substantial increase in the level of help from our staff, and
hence increasing costs. Enhanced
Care enables these people to stay with us, in an environment they are
familiar with. The level is
established by means of a Dependency Analysis, details of which are
available on request.
Respite Care for short-term residence: £569.10
per week.
The fees cover:

Occupation of a furnished single room.
·
The constant presence of staff in the house, and assistance with
meals, dressing, toilet and bathing where necessary.
·
Breakfast, lunch and supper, prepared on the premises.
·
Morning coffee, afternoon tea and an evening drink.
·
All heating, lighting and cleaning of residents’ rooms.
·
Towels and bed-linen.
·
The laundering of these and of personal clothing.
Not
included are the costs of personal services such as hairdressing,
chiropody and opticians’ and dental fees, bills for personal telephones,
and newspapers.
Our fees our relatively low
because we are a non-profit making charity with unpaid volunteers
carrying out many of the administrative tasks.
